The first Modpost of Dreamwidth
And welcome back.
Yes, we're having a mini-event all up in here. Also, some more major announements which don't pertain to the move.
SWARMS HAPPEN
This month, the swarms are just a simple one, all month. There's Level 10-25 Porygon hanging around, especially near electricity. Including the Xtransievers. Perhaps they noticed the events behind the fourth wall? WHO KNOWS.
GAME CORNER POST!!!
The Game Corner post is off the testing community, and now it's on the main mod journal! Now gambling is more canon then before.
PLANNED EVENTS!!!
Unlike the start of the RP, now we've got planned monthly events, planned until the end of the year instead of just spur of the moment! Yay! Unless something random comes up and we need to include it - like for example that whole spider thing, or this move, with extra plot. This month is serious, leading into either serious or silly depending on how you want it to go. IS THAT A HINT? It's a stupid hint if it is.

NEW MOD!?!
Gasp, is this for real? Well, yup! You see, you may have noticed fumbling when it came to events. And, so, we've recruited our own Cat to help us plan and play though events! This happened just as these changes started - so yeah, this is a delayed announcement!! Welcome aboard, now we won't be full of fail!
And now, time for the mini event!
You've all been teleported to the Entralink.
No, seriously. There was another explosion, and now the powers down for three days - both to teleport out and your Xtransievers. So you can't leave. So, instead, you should mingle and find out more about your partners. Note that new applicants can also join in - it's glitchly, which means it might have time-delayed bringing people in.
Also, you get a new starter, with one special egg move of your choice. Yes, srsly. You don't lose any of your Pokemon, mind you. You just get a new one to go along with it, following the same starter rules.

Unrelated but are the comment pages going to be set to the site style? Because as nice as the layout is I think it would be easier as far as long threads go, klsagsfah

-Click on Display.
-There's two options - Entry View Style and Journa View Style
- Go over and change those to 'My own style'
-You be done!

Hello this is Uri with a Bill and, admittedly, I'm a bit curious about continuing certain threads too since apparently Bill's intro wasn't imported. I'm fine with finishing them up on LJ or just handwaving things, just depends on what everyone else wants to do.

Gosh serious plotstuff is going to be awesome.
How about setting the comment pages to the dreamwidth default instead of the journal layout? They're a little bit broken for me on Safari, and that way long threads don't overflow out of the column /)v` But any way you guys prefer is okay.
Oh oh and just curious, what about the threads that were going on in the crack comm?

Okay, that should of fixed it. Blame me for not messing around. If it doesn't work, here's another way to fix it. I wrote it myself.

And a quick clarification on the mini-event Pokemon (but it can be applied to all event Pokemon technically)...
I chose N to get a Klink as his new starter, but Klink can't learn any special egg moves. Can I give it a move it can learn from a TM or something?

Yup, they can have a TM move instead! Or if they're pre-gen V, a tutor move! :p JUST A SPECIAL MOVE. Including Pichu with Volt Tackle, if anybody is going the Pichu route.
