THE GAME AWAKENS!

united_mods After a short bit of plot hiatus, United-One is officially back on proper schedule and activity! Obviously since this is the 're-opening' so to say, no one is going to be required to make an activity post, but even so, an 'attendance' of sorts will be taken; please tag this post with the names of your active muses. The members list will be totally purged and re-filled for accuracy on the 15th of November, so we need to make absolutely sure that whoever is on it is actually active!
On another note, don't think that your friendly Mod has been sitting idle these past few weeks--particularly with the addition of a 'Fairy Type', there's a fair bit to note as an addition or change now that we're back!
First off, Event Suggestions are going to be moved in with the Monthly Activity Post--players will be able to suggest an event idea, or vote on an event during months where the main plot takes a background spot, rather than hunting down the specific post for this. A list of suggested events to vote on will indeed be kept in that separate post, but to make things easier, that list will be quoted whenever it comes time to pick an event.
Second, Contest Posts will now be used either for Sign-ups, or Contest Results ONLY. In that way, players can use the Log and Main game com at their leisure to thread out their contest adventures, without worrying about the confusion of the 'mingle' post.
And Last of all, a notice concerning Kalos Region Pokemon, and the Fairy Type!
The type chart from the XY games is going to come into play, and with it, many of the pokemon retyped as Fairy will now be (of course) 'Fairy' type. To make things simple, a post is going to be made listing those changes, as well as how this affects the type chart over all. Of course, a standard encounter with a Kalos region pokemon will be impossible...
But that does not mean you won't be able to catch them. The Hidden Grottos will occasionally spawn not only starters of the first five regions, but also Kalos now, and additionally, the Game Corner list will be updated to offer a choice of rare Kalos pokemon as opposed to those found in the Unova region. Kalos Pokemon will also be potential encounters during Swarms when listed--so keep your eyes open for them! This will mean that people applying to join the game are now able to choose pokemon from the Kalos region as their starter as well--within the rules and limitations of the others, of course.
At this time of course, most in the region aren't entirely sure what to make of the pokemon in Kalos, but there IS that one guy on the Village Bridge...
That's it for this update! Aside from that, we have the usual announcement of this month's swarm; as the game is just getting back on its feet, there will be no Event this month. Additionally, this would have been the month that Contest Results were posted, so the next Contest Post will not be until December--use this time to get yourselves settled and gather some CR!
SWARMS
November - Swarms are now going to fly about all month; lucky for you, isn't it? Some Pokemon will still only be available for part of it though, so keep that in mind. Now that Halloween has passed, there's a few trick-or-treating stragglers to deal with, while winter season crawls in. Or at least, Christmas season does; at this time in Unova, it's actually Late Spring, approaching Summer! That in mind, expect to see the following:
Phantump-Trevenant, Pumkaboo-Gourgeist (First Two Weeks of November Only)
Cottonee-Whimsicott, Petilil-Liligant
Fletchling-Fletchinder-Talonflame, (Last Two Weeks of November Only)
