Like flipping a switch... (Contest Winners!)
It happens in an instant- early in the first few hours of Halloween the lights of the Entralink and its portals snap on in a flash. Soon enough Nimbasa and Opelucid follow it, and in a wave of energy the power returns!
And with the power, comes a bit of news; officially Unova's massive two-week black out seems to be written off as another Entralink related malfunction, but the television says otherwise...
'Rumor has it from the people of Viribank's Electricity Complex that the source of the blackout was not of human doing but of pokemon in fact, as massive quakes were recorded from within its confines. While there is little evidence to suggest this is the case, this photo was retrieved from security cameras before blacking out,' the newswoman will say, and the photo in question appears to be something like this:
Who's that pokemon?
No one knows!
On the bright side, with the power back, the screens in Nimbasa's Contest Hall have finally been able to announce the winners of each of their held tournaments for the month! There are winners in each level of course, but the Contest Hall is proud to announce their 'Immigrant' prize winners in particular:
BEAUTY CONTEST NORMAL RANK:
First Place - Zack the Arcanine, and breeder Hazel Hawthorn
PERFORMANCE CONTEST NORMAL RANK:
First Place, Beauty Category - Thori the Houndoom, and trainer Loki Laufeyson
LITTLE CUP NORMAL RANK:
First Place - Calima the Spiritomb, and breeder Crow Hogan
For their successes at the contest hall, Hazel, Kid!Loki (AU), and Crow Hogan (AU) each receive the Normal Rank Ribbon of their category, the choice of a red, blue, pink, green, or yellow Barrette, and 10,000P.
In addition, prize winners will receive a single TM of their choosing, from the list found here.NOTE- You may not choose an HM!!
EDIT: Because Usagi-mod was a doof and neglected to recall that HMs would be unobtainable if they weren't prizes, Breeders may pick HMs as prizes now. Apologies for the confusion!
