ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICAAAAANE
Hey guys! So I'm sure you've heard about Hurricane Irene. What you may not have heard is that I may or may not end up directly in its path! /fingertwirl
Yeah, I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and if you look at any projection graph anywhere I'm always in the cone, but fortunately I'm close to the edge.
I wrote up a little post about it here in my journal but to put it simply, I'm probably safe (unless Irene takes a dime-turn and decides to send the core straight onto me but the chances of that happening are very slim) and the biggest concern here is losing power, which I'm undoubtedly going to do! I don't know for how long but my mom, who's been through plenty of hurricanes in the area including Bob and Gloria, said she wouldn't be surprised if we lost power for up to a week.
So in the event that I do disappear for a little while, don't worry, I'm probably just without power and of course I'll get to tags and stuff when I return!
But yeah, I just wanted to let you all know that despite my possible absence that I should be safe and that I won't be gone long if I am at all! ♥

Haha, I think the only way for it to miss me entirely, actually, is for it to go further into NYC which is kind of worst-case scenario for the US, but we've still got a day or two so who knows! Thank you!
