Pokemon talking?

Hey guys! First off; I am having a ton of fun so far with this game. I've been keeping up with all of your threads in the IC intro post, haha.

I realized something, though! How should we deal with Pokemon speech? They can talk to each other in the show (and of course they can talk to N, lol). I'm not sure what everyone was planning to do about that so I thought I'd ask :) It seemed like people were doing it differently.

Pfft, secretly, I am too. Lurking everybody, I mean. While clearing out the mod inbox. Because I fail at LJ and couldn't figure out how to make it how everything didn't pop up in my inbox. But still, glad to see I'm not the only one having fun! (Even if I have slowed down with my own replies because school and comic-making.) I am still so impressed we've got such a long post already - WE ARE ALL AWESOME.

RE: Pokespeak.
Well, I've been matching other people for now, when I post around.
But I normally just italize/color (if there's multiple Pokemon which doesn't seem to apply right now) Poke-speak if it seems important (like if it's an important conversation for either Pokemon or human), and the like.
I don't think we need a ruling one way or another, though? Because yeah everybody does like handling it differently, and I think it's fun to see how people handle it.

And stuff. But if it gets major confusing for everybody, then I will make a ruling and make one way only and stuff.

Yeah.

Oh, another question! Are we waiting for a post about Nuvema/Nimbasa before we officially leave the Entralink?

This seems like it would be a pretty nifty idea, if mods are cool with it.

Sadly, even though I am an awesome prose-person (spoilers: I'm not)... I don't think I can handle doing any more write ups right now, it took me a few days to do that Entralink one!
Guys, you can leave the Entralink whenever you want, and make your own posts. And stuff. c:

Hm, would it be all right if I wrote something up for Nuvema and Nimbasa? I think it'd be easier if people had a specific place to "go". Maybe I'm just more used to forum-style RPing, though, haha, I feel like a need a concrete place to post.

Were you and Kibi planning on playing the NPCs like Professor Juniper, etc.? I'm really wanting this game to progress -- the characters involved are all so cool -- so if you need help fleshing out the world/getting the characters involved in some kind of plot I'd love to help out. I have way too much time on my hands right now so I could play any number of NPCs, haha.

Well, I do understand being used to fourm RPing - that's where I started RPing - but I'm kinda running this how I'm used to (as well as Kibi), and we're used to people making their own posts and stuff, so we won't need a write up for these, because yeah... Sorry, dude!

Also, in a week, I'm gonna be making an OOC post here, talking about plot! Though I do kinda expect people to NPC the main characters - unless it's part of our planned plot and we need to! Yeah, we've got a planned plot for this game - and that's one of the reasons we made this game. So then we may be asking for your help! :3 As well as everybody elses.

Okay! That's fine, obviously I have no idea how this kind of game is run, lol, so thanks for being patient with me XD Anyway, it seems to be going great so keep up the good work :) I'm excited to see what the plot is going to be! :D

It's okay - everybody has to learn, after all! And if you have any questions, you can post them here or PM me. I've been RPing on LJ for just over a year, so I think I'm ready to be the best teacher ever. :p

I have done so many different types of RPs but I'm still getting used to LJ RPs! @___@ It feels so different from everything else I've done. (I'm having a lot of fun, though, even just reading the other threads! I love seeing different characters from different universes interacting. %D Even more fun learning about new characters from series I haven't read/watched/etc.)

But um, when you say NPC the characters, you mean just writing them out ourselves, right? Like, if I wanted to have my character talk to Juniper, I would just write her myself? And I guess for RPing traveling we'll do our own wild Pokemon fights?

Let me tell you, it took me a few months to get used to LJ RPs - and I don't even see myself as an expert yet! But I'm still teaching. I am a derp. (And that's one of the reasons I opened this game - to see characters I don't know, and to interact with them! It is so awesome.)

And, yeah, that's what I basically mean! You get to write the NPC interactions for yourself, without mod involvement in case you wanna do something like idk try and attack an NPC even if that'd be cruel to Juniper - oh, and also, RE: Pokemon battles during travel. You don't have to write out every single one - just so you know. I wouldn't expect that. I trust you guys! Just needed to make sure you knew that.

I think I'm starting to get used to LJ RPs, hopefully. But yes, I am having lots of fun. X>

Oooh, okay, didn't know that about Pokemon battles. I knew we were keeping track of levels and stuff here, but I wasn't sure if we needed to record every battle and whatnot like some Pokemon RPs do. %D;

Oh, okay! Just wanted to make sure, since I think a lot of people just weren't sure whether we could go ahead and start. ;;

Oh, while I'm here--what season is it? It's winter in all my games, and I think August is always a winter month, but I just wanted to make sure.
