I'm seriously lost here, guys.

I can't figure out where to jump in, how to post to certain groups.

(jesus christ i should have just stuck to twitter or something, i'm obviously a retard)

do you people have a skype group or something?
any kind of chat group?

EDIT: okay, figured out how to post here, but how do I find out what's going on, etc?

Mod here! Alright, here's some answers:

1) No, we don't have a Skype group. Though an AIM chat group miiiiight be a good idea eventually... But until we finalize that, it's just the two communities, and our personal contacts. Mine is XxKibiKonxX on AIM, but the easiest way to reach me is by personal LJ message.

2) The easiest way to find out what's going on in the game currently is just to take a look at the recent posts. The in-character posts on united_one should reflect any major events that are happening (for example, the current event is the "Pokemon Transformation" event, for which there are posts made by Dragonite and the Doctor). Looking at recent posts made by other characters gives you an idea of what's happening in the game.

You can also look at united_ooc for more specific event news. Event news will have been posted by the journal "united_mods", which is our (the creators') account, and most often titled as "MOD STUFF", or some variation of that.

As for jumping in... For you, since you've got a new character, my recommendation is to jump in by making an in-character post at the united_one community. Because there's an event going on right now, you can have the post be about that, with your character freaking out because HOLY SHIT SUDDENLY TRANSFORMED INTO A POKEMON AND IN ANOTHER WORLD WHY. And it's optional, but you can also make a united_ooc post to introduce yourself out of character to the other players, like me. c:
