Monthly CR Update and New Mod Related Info!

Hello everybody, Mod-Usagi here!

There's been a bit of a delay with this post, largely due to September-Shenanigans and IRL issues- however there's also a fairly large change in the Mod-Hierarchy so to speak as well.

After some discussion between myself and Kururu, it's been decided that they'll be stepping down from the plate of main mod- in their place, I've been granted the role. It's a big change, but I'll be doing my best to run things nice and smooth, and the first step of that is this month's events! Otherwise, the game itself hasn't changed; if it's not broken don't fix it, and all that jazz.

If there are any questions as to why the change, no worries; Kururu will be making a post soon enough explaining just what's going on from their end.

SWARMS

15th-25th - Happy happy sunshine swarm time?
Quite the mood whiplash here, but for the second half of the month of September there will be swarms of overly cheery, sunny pokemon- eevee, deerling, happiny, cleffa, as well as sunkern, sunflora, cherrim, and cherubi will be abundant, and cheerily bringing a smile to your face while the below occurs! ...Isn't that nice?

EVENT

This one could be a bit of a doozy- now that the swarms from last month are over, Unova's been left a little scattered. The people who arrived during that time have vanished in one way or another, and power limiters are back in place. However while Unova might be a little shaken, it would seem that not everyone is...

From the 15th to the 25th, creatures from the darkest recesses of your mind will begin to appear... Though they're only about as strong as a certain floral patterned psychic pokemon, figures resembling either monsters or even events that happen in the nightmares of characters will appear in reality.

And they will be VERY solid. More details when the event itself begins of course... But for now, think of it like this- if a character dreams up Godzilla at this time, Godzilla is likely to appear in all his giant monster glory.

What sorta plans do you have for them: He... might actually become a coordinator. PRETTY LIGHTS~

Character Name: Judai Yuki (and Hane Kuriboh!)
Thing they've done: GOT LOST A LOT and caught an Absol.
Where they are: Striaton City, training his brains out in the Dreamyard.
What sorta plans do you have for them: Probably gonna set him up for his first badge sometime within the next two weeks or so, depending on my rl schedule.
Speaking of which, my rl schedule is essentially the reason Judai's been getting so lost; I'm busy, so being lost gives him an excuse to not be around.

SPEAKING OF WHICH Judai is gonna get lost in Pinwheel Forest when he eventually gets there. Like, badly. For like a month. And he's gonna need people to rescue him.

Practiced dressing up Pokémon, got an egg from her Buizel, got pounced by a giant puppy then caught it... and is pondering whether it would be weird to ride it. :

What sorta plans do you have for them: Have her actually not miss a contest(just gotta figure out how to display her Pokémons' conditions) this month and maybe get sick...

Whatever happened to there being mod posts for the contests anyway?

Where they are: Nimbasa City
What sorta plans do you have for them: More badges and he's going to try to get past the power limits and only manage to get to the new limit instead.

Character Name: Akio Hideyoshi (Gin)
Thing they've done: He has caught a Zorua and a Leafeon. Well, the latter just started following him... and he got into a mood about the spirit of his old friend going away once the Fourth Wall was over. He did, however, have a lot of fun being able to transform into his fox self while fully powered!
Where they are: Training around the Striaton area, to be able to get his first badge.
What sorta plans do you have for them: Well, he's gonna get his badge, and once he's in Nacrene, spend ages in the library. And he is going to have FUN in Pinwheel forest once he gets there. Being a nature spirit and all. For the event? He is an assassin. Who'd prefer not to be. Do the math.

Character Name: Loki (MCU AU)
Thing they've done: Caught a Blaziken and a Turtwig. Argued with his Thor while he was here. Been noticing that Yuuma and Subaru are 'Hero types'...
Where they are: With Yuuma and Subaru, last seen on Route 6.
What sorta plans do you have for them: NIGHTMARES GALORE- I mean, he has a LOT of bad memories and such to call on. And worst fears. Some of them are going to be making an appearance. Yay for him?

Character Name: Amane Bakura
Thing they've done: Won her first badge~! She's also caught a Milotic during the swarms, lucky girl.
Where they are: With Thor, on her way to Nacrene.
What sorta plans do you have for them: She'll be aiming for her next badge, and after that, the forest. As for the event? ...She died. This will come up.

OH. And I may, just MAY be apping someone else. Someone who goes by the name of Captain. But that's only if you're being formal. Which you're not... in which case, you can just call him Martin.

USAGI'S MONTHLY SWARM, HOH!

Character Name: Otogi Ryuuji (AU)
Thing they've done: Gathered a small army of soccer players, caught a tynamo to train while travelling. The rest of his pokemon can't do a thing with their levels as they are haha.
Where they are: I believe they're somewhere in Striaton- I can't recall if Kirino's doubling back or not..
What sorta plans do you have for them: Funnily enough, any and all of Otogi's nightmares would just look like pokemon anyways, so the only thing it'll seem to be is overtly violent pokemon. So nothing is planned basically.



Character Name: Yuuma Tsukumo & Astral
Thing they've done: SHONEN HERO FIIIIIGHT. Oh and they got their cards back... For a bit. All of the numbers are gone..!
Where they are: Somewhere on Route 6; should be going to Chargestone soon. However...
What sorta plans do you have for them: There's a plan between myself and Kururu that, since Jade's essentially vanished, Iris will be giving the caravan to them; they're in rather close proximity after all. Also, Yuuma's nightmares won't be making an appearance, partially because Loki's will be plenty to deal with hahaha.



Character Name: Thor Odinson (AU)
Thing they've done: GYM BADGES. He also had fun times with his brother while he was there, catching a froslass with his help and getting his combusken.
Where they are: Enroute to Nacrene with Amane!
What sorta plans do you have for them: Another who won't be having any nightmares, largely because his brother's words made him feel a million times better and so he's not likely even thinking of it. Not to mention his 'fear' doesn't exactly come in a singular form...



Character Name: Kid!Loki (AU)
Thing they've done: Offscreen shenanigans involved helping Cilan with his canon visitor, and onscreen included fun with 'friends' from the future, along with catching a certain 'Master Wilson' Bisharp.
Where they are: I think they're in Castelia right now...
What sorta plans do you have for them: Loki's nightmare unfortunately will be a certain zombie-accusitory Thor ala the 'Fear Itself' arc of the comics. However, it's likely that he'll be joined by an equally nightmareish Leah. ...Which is even worse.



Character Name: Zone (AU)
Thing they've done: He doubled back with Rua and Ruka to Accumula, and while there got himself some new clothes. ...And also made it astonishingly evident that he's an amputee, uh.
Where they are: Accumula! He'll probably start heading back north again soon.
What sorta plans do you have for them: Zone has loooots of nightmares, and his manifestations might be a little confusing; they won't attack, but the grisly forms of his dead/dying friends is never fun to see.



Character Name: Dinosaur Ryuzaki (AU)
Thing they've done: He got badges! He got DINOSAURS. And more importantly, thanks to Loki's training he got a rhyperior that can fight for herself... Very good when bolts of electricity make you freeze, and your next badge is, well. Electric.
Where they are: I believe he's still in Nimbasa- he'll be heading off for his next badge soon.
What sorta plans do you have for them: Badges aside, he and Kurt are likely going to share a nightmare, in that both of them are utterly terrified of 'Yami no Malik'...



Character Name: Crow Hogan
Thing they've done: ARRIVED. ...what.
Where they are: He's travelling with Yuusei and Kurt, and they're in Accumula right now.
What sorta plans do you have for them: He's likely going to go into contests hilariously enough. As it is, nightmare event around Crow will not be very fun for his travelling party, as he has seen some things, and those things were not nice.

Thing they've done: Transformed into Rockman during the 4th Wall Plot shenanigans and had a small competition with Yuuma, and helped Astral find some new duds and met Loki's bro, Thor!
Where they are: On the way to Chargestone!
What sorta plans do you have for them: At Chargestone Cave, War-Rock's going to become either solid or visible to the others because of the sheer amount of electromagnetic waves there. Subaru's going to find out that the stones there are the source he's looking for, but he still needs to find a way to integrate them as a power source for the Hunter, so he's still got a ways to go!

Character Name: Fudou Yuusei
Thing they've done:
New dork! :D Arrived in Nuvema, met up with Kurt and Crow and started travelling with them.Where they are: Accumula, still with Kurt and Crow, possibly joining up with Rua/Ruka and Zone. Who knows.
What sorta plans do you have for them: NO IDEA. TRAVELLING SHENANINGANS!

Thing they've done: Caught a Milotic and got harassed by a small army of ghost types.
Where they are: Striaton City!
What sorta plans do you have for them: I might do something with that event for him... Also Dreamyard training shenanigans before the new badge-getters in the group take on the first gym!

Thing they've done: Arrived, met up with his sister, Zone, Hakuryuu and Shuu, tried to move forward but then doubled back to Accumula. Also caught nearly a full party of Pokemon thanks to the swarm.

What sorta plans do you have for them: Badge-getting!



Character Name: Colette Brunel
Thing they've done: Arrived! And met up with Seimei
Where they are: Route 1 or Accumula? I think
What sorta plans do you have for them: She might be thinking about earning badges...! Also perhaps an eventually item tracking business by way of her puppies.

Thing they've done: Arrived; met Colette and began traveling with her.
Where they are: Accumula.
What sorta plans do you have for them: He's going to be working his way slowly along the routes and expanding his party. Might look into hunting badges but he's more interested in just catching Pokebros.

Thing they've done: Caught (too many) Pokemon, and wandered around a bit!

Thing they've done: Met ~new people~ and created a travelling group. Of sorts.
Where they are: Accumula
