MONTHLY UPDATE THINGIE

Current season: Autumn/Fall. It's just begun!
I'm gonna start mentioning the season there, okay? Also in the accepted notice. Because then we might lose track of it otherwise!!

SWARMS
1-14th - There are no swarms during this time, because everybody is asleep.
15th - 29th - Did you know? I forgot it was a Leap Year until I started to write this. Anyhow, it's the middle of autumn! So, what would swarm around then, around the dying brown leaves? It's mushroom season! Paras, Shroomish and Foongus, oh my! They're all around the trees. There's also still a few more Munna then normal, eating up the last of the Dream energy left around - but these Munna are only around Route 2, 3 and the Dreamyard.
Also, in the water, there's a few Luvdisk scattered around. For late Valentines Day stuff - there was a huge party while you slept or something. I... I dunno, that's not what this RP is about.

EVENT STUFF
Remember, the Dream World Event starts on the 2nd, which is tomorrow for me! Hope you're all ready! I'm so excited. :) And afterwards, there's actually gonna be srs plot stuff for March! Like, woah, I hope you'll like it!

Hopefully we're done working out breeding stuff by then. By the way, the revamped gyms are nearly done - just gotta finish looking them over, and also editing them in.

ACTIVITY CHECK / HMD / CHARACTER RELATION PLANNING
No activity check for January, as I promised - but it'll be starting again for Febuary forward! Remember, activity check is just telling me something you've done in the month, one thing per character! If you wanna make it more detailed, be my guest!

This month, we'll also have a full How's My Driving and Character Relationship Planning post. And that post is also this post, because why the hell not! HMDs are going to be held bi-monthly, but CR posts will be held monthly. You don't need to paticipate, but... hey. Why not? It's something to do.

No, not the tool used to insert music into GBA games, used in Pokemon ROM hacking. That Sappy program is rather crap, from what I've gathered. Outdated and all that. BUT THIS IS NOT OUTDATED. /stops rambling
Wow, how long has this RP run? Nearly 5-6 months? I never thought I'd run a roleplay for this long - I never thought I'd be running an RP, fullstop! This has been a learning experience for me, and I'm glad you guys have put up with me. I'm a derp of a mod, and I'm not always the fastest... but you guys have made this worthwhile. Thankyou so much for playing my game, and I hope we can last at least a full year! Or even more - I hope we can ride this to the end of the story, and maybe even further! :) WHO KNOWS?

Do you have any plans for your character? She's currently learning "how does me a derp do Pokemon??", so that'll probably occupy her for a bit.

I AM GOING TO BE AN ARTIST. FOR VIDEOGAMES. After two years of study. SO HAPPY. Though it might mess with my modding time... it's a three day week at school, 9-5 for two of the days, 1-5 for the other. s-so nervous.

And meanwhile, I just suck at writing them. I am not good at describing personalities. ahahaha... ha... ha.

I actually think that Shinta and Shizuo might get along if they talk - Shinta just wants to cheer along others, he's not interested in his Pokemon fighting because it weirds him out a bit. Though they train on their own.

Do you have any plans for your character? Pretty much Naoto will just be snooping about to learn anything more the Entralink malfunction that she can, and also training/catching Pokemon to take on the gyms.

Character: Emmet
Do you have any plans for your character? Actually, no. Right now, he's just being secretly angry at the world, and still with Dave. In Striaton. I'm having a little trouble thinking of things for him, tbh - but March will give him a purpose to continue, at least.

I have the feeling he's never gonna be caught for his horrible murder.

Anyway, any CR is cool. Especially from people who can sense his oddness, and see past his facade of cheer.

Character: Dragonite
Do you have any plans for your character? She's going to just travel with Team Socially Awkward. I actually want to do a silly post with her post-event, asking about babies. Because of her Dratini. And she doesn't know what a baby Human looks like.
Team Socially Awkward, I'd love for her to chat to you more! I feel like she lacks CR with her travel party.

Also she should chat with Otogi. Because PMD... buddies? They should eventually meet. :)

Also also, one of the earliest things I thought up while playing her - if the team gets to Nacrene, Dragonite is going to overreact over the Dragonite display in the gym. Yeah. And she's gonna get kicked out.

Character: Iris
Do you have any plans for your character? Iris is probably just gonna mess around with Jade for a while, helping her BFF learn the ropes of this world, Nuzlocke-style. I've got a post written up for the Dream World event though, and it's kind of scary! It involves Blazikas [the unreleased latias/blaziken thing, yeah it exists in her world, all unreleased pokemon exist] and everything!
Nacrene is gonna be a stopping point for her in a bit, mind you. Because of the fact that Lenora is dead in her world, Iris is just gonna start doubting returning home more.

Character: Grimsley
Do you have any plans for your character? I'm actually trying to okay a plot with him. If that's okayed, I'm gonna do a post on the OOC comm about it - it's a big one. Other then that - bitty always needs more people to annoy him. And more rivals. :p

Character: Shinta Kikuchi, the only one with a last name. Well, with a known last name.
Do you have any plans for your character? Shinta is really just trying to study up on the world. He also wants to get to know everybody - he's just a cheerful guy. So any CR is fine with me. In Nacrene, he will want to read up a bit on the world in those books, because he does wanna get home as soon as possible.
Also, he's not interested in gym battles, just so you know.

Character: N Harmonia
Do you have any plans for your character? He's basically being ~*CAPTAIN EXPOSITION*~ for a few people at the moment, so he'll probably just keep doing that for a while! Offering (not-so-polite) advice, translations of Pokemon language, etc. c: He's got his Trio Badge, so he'll leave for Nacrene whenever the rest of Team Socially Awkward Failboat get their own badges/decide not to and just get bored of Striaton. Speaking of which, did you guys intend on having your characters get their badges before they leave or not? I know Dragonite isn't, but what about the rest of you guys?

Also, N's daddy isshus are alive and well, so when and if Ghetsis makes himself known again... SHIT'S GON GO DOWN. He also may or may not come across the alternate version of..... uh himself and that'll just bring out a whole new heap of issues DUN DUN DUN.

N can't have nice things. Though hopefully he'll have some happy fun times with some Tympoles along the way? WHEN IN DOUBT, TYMPOLES
Also planning on the upcoming dream event being something nice for him and not horribly angsty at least skljdfkjsdkfjkdsfjdks

Character: The Doctor
Do you have any plans for your character? I have no idea i have apparently forgotten i even play this character....... I might have to put him on hiatus for a bit in order to do a canon update-- I haven't watched Doctor Who in a long time, and it shows ugh. ;o; For the sake of the game, though, he's basically just wandering right about now. If I was more active, I'd ask if anyone wanted to be his traveling buddy for a bit to give him some guidance, but IDK AT THIS POINT.... Tune in later!!

My original plan waaaaaay back when I first joined was to have Paprika lose, then come back and win, but since that'll take forever, I'll probably just have her pull another really reckless win out of her ass sometime at the end of this week/next week, and then have Lenora mop the floor with her.
